About Margie Herzing
My name is Margie Herzing and I am a Sales, Pharmaceutical Sales, Public Speaking Coach. I have always enjoyed helping others and love problem solving.
I graduated from University of Illinois, Chicago with a dual major in English and Science. I taught Junior High School right after college and implemented a new Remedial Reading Program for about 125 students who were in the 7th grade but had reading levels as low as the 2nd grade level.
I loved working with the children and watching many of them have their first feeling of success in school. We worked on their personal achievements. It was very rewarding to watch their damaged spirits begin to build self esteem and actually enjoy learning for the first time.
Due to a job change with my spouse, we moved to Minnesota and I had to leave my teaching career behind. I worked at a Health Maintenance Organization in Minneapolis. I helped to organize the company from 2 employees to 30. When I left, I was in charge of the Personnel Department and had departmentalized the office into work areas for related projects, made work flow charts, salary administration, federal and local reporting requirements, developed employees standards and job requirements for each department. I loved creating the company, determining the roles of each department, adding structure to the tasks and policies needed to provide great customer service to our members.
I left MedCenter to become a Pharmaceutical Representative for Warner Chilcott. I entered into this field because of my love of science. Selling to Doctors and Hospitals would allow me to help many people suffering from a variety of physical ailments. I started as a territory rep and eventually made my way to a Senior Sales Consultant with the Institutional Sales Division. Throughout my career, I achieved multiple Pro Club Awards, (highest award in field sales) several company and regional awards and was seen as a mentor to many new representatives. I taught Hospital Selling to the Region, and lead many teaching courses for skill development. I also received the #1 Institutional Representative award and had won the Platinum Club Award.
I know I can help people in sales to increase their results. I have acquired many skills in selling, planning, time management, territory assessment objection handling and closing techniques throughout my selling career and can use my experience to help others in the Medical Sales areas as well as any sales field.
I have been in Toastmasters for years and have my Competent Communicator and Competent Leader Awards. I served as a Treasurer, VP Education and President for my local Club. I can definitely counsel people on their presentation skills, organizing their presentation, creating compelling and concise presentation and how to be more effective with their vocal variety, gestures and their platform/presentation skills.
Since March of 2006, I have also been working with Home Base Businesses. Networking is another area where I can help others to reach success. I am the President and CEO for my companies which include Herbalife, Fortune Hi Tech Marketing and Healthy Coffee. I am building a team with Fortune and understand what it takes to get a Multilayer Marketing Company off the ground. Relationship selling is the wave of the future and I would love to help others become a successful.
